It’s that time of the year again, “Pink in the Rink”.
The Saanich Jr. Braves will be hosting their annual fundraising game in support of Anneswer to Cancer and Victoria Hospice!
On Friday, October 18th, 2019, The Saanich Braves are taking on the Westshore Wolves in what is sure to be an action packed game, all in the name of charity. For the fifth consecutive year, and in partnership with Anneswer to Cancer, the Braves are looking to raise funds in support of Victoria Hospice, and end-of-life care in our community. The Braves will be raising funds as a team, as well as individuals, with some friendly competition gaining between players to see who can raise the most. If the Braves reach their goal of $20,000, several players have committed to going under the clippers to shave their heads, in the hopes of raising even more!
You won’t want to miss out on this fun, family-friendly night at Pearkes Arena, in addition to playing a great game of hockey, the Braves will be hosting a 50/50 draw, a chuck-a-puck game, a post-game jersey auction and a silent auction table; where many Braves fans will be able to score some great prizes!
This is sure to be a great night of action-packed hockey and great family entertainment, all for a great cause. We hope to see you there!
