2024 VIJHL All-Star Day
Victoria, BC – The Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League is proud to announce that our 2024 All Star Day will take place January 28, 2024 in Lake Cowichan hosted by the Lake Cowichan Kraken!
The VIJHL All Star Day will include the VIJHL Top Prospects Game (showcasing the league’s young stars), and the VIJHL annual All Star Game (presenting the league’s leading stars).
The Mayor’s Lunch, which will be hosted between the games, will provide an opportunity for the host community to express their appreciation and recognition for the league All Stars, league and team representatives, game officials, service providers, and event volunteers.
The schedule of events are as follows:
10:30am – Prospects Game
1:00pm – The Mayor’s Lunch
3:30pm – All Star Game All Star activities will take place at the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena, Lake Cowichan, BC
Following each of the games, an MVP will be selected from each team.
The South Division Top Prospects and All Stars will be announced on Saturday, January 13th
The North Division Top Prospects and All Stars will be announced on Sunday, January 14th

The Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) consists of eleven teams in two divisions. The North Island Division consists of the Campbell River Storm, Comox Valley Glacier Kings, Lake Cowichan Kraken, Nanaimo Buccaneers, Oceanside Generals, and the Port Alberni Bombers. The South Island Division consists of the Kerry Park Islanders, Peninsula Panthers, Saanich Predators, Westshore Wolves, and the Victoria Cougars.
