Landen May and Henry Toomer into an empty net scored in the third period to help the Comox Valley Glacier Kings freeze the host Oceanside Generals 2-0 before 395 fans at Oceanside Place in Saturday night VIJHL action.
Luca Vanzo stopped 20 pucks in the Glacier Kings net for the shutout and was named second star of the game, with Josh Nuttall earning first star honours for a 26 save performance between the Generals pipes. Rylan Prescesky of Oceanside was named third star of the game.

Kerry Park 9 Port Alberni 5
Carson Brown exploded with five goals and was named first star of the game as the Kerry Park Islanders soared to a 9-5 win over the Port Alberni Bombers in front of 277 spectators at the Alberni Valley Multiplex.
Kerry Park never trailed in the game, leading 3-2 and 8-2 by periods, with Ethan Barron stopping 24 pucks for the win in net. Other Islander goals came from Rylan Davis with two and Jobey Pearson and Colby Robinson adding singles. Jacob Morrison chipped in with three assists and was named second star.
Daniel Betcher scored two goals and added an assist to earn third star honours for the Bombers, who also had two markers from Leim Smith and one from Kai Verbrugge. Tom Forrest and Damien Knackstedt combined for 32 saves in the Port Alberni goal.
