First star Parker Atkinson potted 1 goal with 3 assists in the Wolves decisive win over the Buccaneers in Wednesday night action in the VIJHL.
Second star Kaden Ryan tallied 2 of Wolves goals. The other goal scorers were Brett Herle, Kansys Seney, Sam Spring and Clay Spencer.
For the Buccaneers, Kenny Boychuk and Dylan Hoskins were the goal scorers.
James Hall of Westshore was the third star – stopping 41 of 43 shots, while Darien Feser (13 saves) and Tristen Stephens (14 saves) tried valiantly to hold the gate for Nanaimo.
Westshore stays in second place in the South at 16-3-2-1, but are now only 1 point back of the league leading Panthers. However, the Panthers do have a commanding 2 games in hand over the Wolves. Nanaimo stays firmly in third place in the North at 11-7-1-1.
