Saanich 3 Oceanside 4
Third star Rykan Lay scored late in the third period to give the Oceanside Generals a 4-3 come from behind victory over the Saanich Predators in Saturday night VIJHL action in front of 528 fans at Oceanside Place.
Second star Mathias Alhaj, Levi Green and Kane Law were the other Generals marksmen, with Logan Lough earning first star honours with two assists. Hunter Farrer was outstanding with 30 saves for Oceanside (6-24-3), in the game where Saanich led 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 before the Generals marched back to victory.
Matt Ker, Luke Kim and Von Parsons were the goal scorers for Saanich (9-21-2), who had 35 stops from netminder Asher Uniat.

Port Alberni 3 Kerry Park 9
First star Jacob Morrison fired three goals and second star Brody Lindal two and an assist to pace the Kerry Park Islanders to a 9-3 grounding of the Port Alberni Bombers as 155 people took in the contest at Kerry Park Arena.
Kerry Park (23-6-2-1) took over second place in the South Division with the win and held a7-2 lead after the first period and 8-2 following the second, with their other goals coming from third star Bryce Burnett, who added two assists, Rylan Davis, Bryce Kohler and Benjamin Stocks. Ethan Taylor was solid between the pipes with 33 saves.
Leim Smith had two goals and Zach Spafford one for Port Alberni (19-11-4), with Ethan Grant and Damien Knackstedt combining for 23 saves in the Bombers cage.

Nanaimo 0 Comox Valley 4
First star Brigham Nye scored Comox Valley’s first two goals and second star Luca Vanzo blocked all 39 shots he faced to lead the Glacier Kings to a 4-0 whitewashing of the Nanaimo Buccaneers at the Comox Valley Sports Centre.
After a scoreless opening frame, Comox Valley (15-17-3) led 2-0 heading into the third, when third star Austin Montgomery-Parsons and Isaac Dunsire added goals to round out the scoring.
Parker Ambury had 27 saves in goal for Nanaimo (12-18-1-1).
