Comox Valley 3 Port Alberni 4 (OT)
Luke Ridgway scored at 6:42 of overtime to give the host Port Alberni Bombers a 4-3 victory over the Comox Valley Glacier Kings in Wednesday night VIJHL action in front of 293 fans at the Alberni Valley Multiplex.
Ridgway was named first star for his three point night as he added two assists. Zach Spafford, Jack Barrett and third star Sean Richards had the other goals for the Bombers, who led 2-0 and 2-0 by periods. Evan Grant made 30 saves in the Alberni net.
Second star Henry Toomer had a pair of goals for Comox Valley, including a marker in the last minute of the third period to tie the game. Ryan Harris had the other tally for the Glacier Kings, who had a 39 save performance from netminder Aaron Pichette.

Campbell River Westshore
Clay Spencer scored twice in the third period to help the hometown Westshore Wolves double the Campbell River Storm 4-2.
Jackson Campbell and Parker Atkinson were the other marksmen for the Wolves, who jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period before Levente Birta’s first of two cut the score in half by the end of the first frame. His second goal tied the contest in the middle stanza.
Dryden Demelo made 22 stops in the Westshore goal, with Kaeden Serpa blocking 27 for the Storm.
