Kerry Park 7 Victoria 2
Kerry Park Islanders overcame a 2-0 first period deficit with seven straight goals to down the Victoria Cougars 7-2 and knot their best-of-seven South Division semi-final 2-2 in front of 350 fans at Archie Browning Arena in Sunday VIJHL playoff action.
Brody Lindal had two goals, first star Eric Stinson a goal and two assists, second star Raydon Parkes a goal and an assist, and Matson Waring, Adam Konowalchuk and Max Carlson also scored for the regular season champion Islanders, who led 4-2 after two periods. Ethan Taylor started in goal and made seven saves but was replaced by Noah Stenvig after the second Cougars store, and he stopped all 16 shots he faced in the contest.
Third star Elijah Kim and Mathieu Ouellette had the Victoria goals and Ryder Lally stopped 35 shots for the Cougars, who won the first two games of the series. Game five goes Tuesday night in Kerry Park.

Comox 1 Port Alberni 4
Port Alberni Bombers scored the last four goals of the game, including three in the third period, to cool off the Comox Valley Glacier Kings 4-1 in front of 402 spectators at the Alberni Valley Multiplex.
First star Luke Ridgway, Bostyn MacDonald, Sean Richards and Grayson Salmon into an empty net scored for Port Alberni, as the game was tied 0-0 after the first and 1-1 after two frames. The Bombers now lead the series 3-0, with game 4 Tuesday night in Courtenay.
Suhaan Nagra was the only Comox Valley player to beat second star and winning goalie Evan Grant, who finished with 20 saves in the game. Third star Luca Vanzo stopped 26 shots between the Glacier Kings pipes.

Campbell River 2 Lake Cowichan 1
First star Kaeden Serpa stopped 24 of 25 shots in the Campbell River goal to lead the Storm to a 2-1 win at the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena and a sweep of their best-of-seven North Division semi-final in four straight games.
Third star Kai Williams scored the winning goal with four minutes left in the second period, after Jacob Kulas tied the game almost three minutes earlier for the Storm.
Landon Carson scored for the Kraken, with second star Tanner Ferrill blocking 22 pucks in the Kraken cage.
Campbell River now awaits the winner of the Comox Valley-Port Alberni series.
