North All Stars 4 South All Stars 6
Nick Scott of the Saanich Predators scored twice and added an assists and was named the MVP of the VIJHL All Star Game Saturday night in Salmon Arm, as the South Division bested the North Division 6-4 in an exciting, fast-paced game.
The other South scorers were Carson Harris of the Peninsula Panthers, Jobey Pearson of the Kerry Park Islanders, Parker Atkinson of the Westshore Wolves and Brendan Williams of the Peninsula Panthers into an empty net as the North led 2-1 after the first, before the South stormed back to lead 5-3 after the second.
Merik Grinaker of the Peninsula Panthers and Dryden Demelo of the Westshore Wolves combined to make 33 saves in the South net.
Scoring for the North Division were Levente Birta of the Campbell River Storm, Sam Davidson of the Port Alberni Bombers, Jacob Kulas of Campbell River and Jasper Fellbaum of the Oceanside Generals.
North goalies Evan Grant of Port Alberni and Kaeden Serpa of Campbell River made 35 stops in the contest.

Westshore 1 Oceanside 5
Goals from first star Sloan Kroeker, second star Logan Lough and 36 saves from the third star, goalie Hunter Farrer, led the Oceanside Generals to a 5-1 decision over the Westshore Wolves in front of 356 fans at Oceanside Place in Parksville.
Ryken Lay and Brander Lambert were the other marksmen for Oceanside (8-25-4) in a game the hosts led 1-0 after the first and second frames.
Liam Donovan had the lone Wolves tally, and netminder James Hall made 23 saves for Westshore, now 24-9-4-1 on the season.

Nanaimo 2 Comox Valley 3 (OT)
First star Jake Gislason’s goal at 4:16 of overtime gave the Comox Valley Glacier Kings a come-from-behind 3-2 win over the Nanaimo Buccaneers as 389 spectators watched at the Comox Valley Sports Centre.
Second star Brigham Nye tied the game in the third period for Comox Valley (16-19-3), which led 1-0 after the first but trailed 2-1 heading into the final frame. Aaron Pichette stopped 25 shots in the Glacier Kings net.
Casey Rutland and Porter Muxlow scored for Nanaimo (13-20-2-2), which received a solid 44 save effort from backstop Darian Feser, named the game’s third star.
