First star Liam Donovan and third star Kansas Seney each scored twice as the Westshore Wolves roared ahead to a 4-0 first period lead and never looked back while dumping the Saanich Predators 8-1 in Sunday VIJHL play in front of 156 spectators at Juan de Fuca Arena.
Second star Parker Atkinson, Linden Hoskins, Sam Spring and Zackael Mongeon also scored for Westshore (27-12-6-1) now has 61 points, and with two games remaining will stay in third place in the South Division, setting up a first round playoff series with the second place Peninsula Panthers. South Division and VIJHL regular season champion Kerry Park Islanders will face fourth place Victoria Cougars in the other South semi-final match-up.

Cole Friesen had the lone goal for Saanich, which saw Asher Uniat and Ty Tanton combine for 27 saves.
