Saanich 3 Westshore 4 (OT)
Second star Noah Gebicki’s goal at 48 seconds of overtime enabled the Westshore Wolves to defeat the Saanich Predators 4-3 in Wednesday night VIJHL action at The Q Centre.
First star Clay Spencer fired two goals, with Parker Atkinson having the other goal for Westshore (24-8-4-1), which trailed 1-0 and 3-1 by periods. Dryden Demelo blocked 22 shots in the Wolves net.
Third star Luke Kim, Maxime Simard and Elijah Kim had the goals for Saanich (9-24-3), who had 33 stops from netminder Asher Uniat.
