Campbell River 2 Oceanside 3 (OT)
Ryken Lay scored his second goal of the night a minute into overtime and was named first star as the Oceanside Generals upset the North Division leading Campbell River Storm 3-2 in Saturday night VIJHL action at Oceanside Place in Parksville.
Kane Law had the other goal for Oceanside (7-24-3), which trailed 1-0 after the opening period but led 2-1 heading, into the third, thanks to a 37 save performance from first star, goalie Hunter Farrer.
Third star Jan-Felix Faupel and Kai Williams had the goals for Campbell River (24-8-5), with goalie Luc Gravel stopping 30 shots.

Saanich 2 Port Alberni 4
Goals from first star Sean Richards and second star Grayson Salmon helped the host Port Alberni Bombers double the Saanich Predators 4-2 in front of 255 spectators at the Alberni Valley Multiplex.
Saanich (9-24-2) led 1-0 after a first period goal from Tarik Borhot, but trailed 2-1 after two frames. Von Parsons had the other marker and third star Asher Uniat made 34 saves between the Predators’ pipes.
Port Alberni (20-11-4) also had empty net goals from Owen Ditzel and Nathan Hayes in the last minute of the third period, with Evan Grant earning the win by stopping 19 shot.

Victoria 1 Comox Valley 0
Lane Maarhuis stopped all 31 shots he faced in a first star performance, leading the Victoria Cougars to a 1-0 shutout of the host Comox Valley Glacier Kings with 472 people looking on at the Comox Valley Sports Centre.
Third star Anthony Wilson was the only skater to beat second star Luca Vanzo, who stopped 18 shots, with the winning tally coming at 15:17 of the third period in the goaltenders battle. Victoria is now Victoria (17-13-5), with Comox Valley at 15-8-3.

Westshore 3 Kerry Park 5
Kerry Park Islanders scored the first five goals of the game and staved off a furious Westshore Wolves comeback in a 5-3 win in front of 176 spectators at the Kerry Park Arena.
First star Kyler Smith had two goals, with singles coming from second star Jobey Pearson, Brody Lindal and Carson Brown as the Islanders had 37 saves from goalie Ethan Barron in the contest they led 2-0 and 5-2 by periods. Kerry Park (25-6-2-1) pulled ahead of Westshore (23-8-4-1) by two points to take over second place in the South Division with two games in hand.
Third star Noah Gebicki, Elias Schellander and Sam Spring were the Westshore marksmen, with goalie James Hall stopping 30 shots in the Wolves cage.
