Peninsula 3 Victoria 8
First star Mathieu Ouellette figured in half of the Victoria with two goals and two assists while leading the Cougars to an 8-3 decision over the Peninsula Panthers in Saturday night VIJHL action in front of a crowd of 260 at Archie Browning Arena.
Second star Kelton Shinde and third star Cole Patterson each had a goal and two assists for Victoria (21-14-6), which held period leads of 2-1 and 5-3. Other markers came from Austin Garrett with two, and Joseph Melichar and Brandon Smith one apiece, backed by a 29 save performance from Ryder Lally in the Cougars cage.
Peninsula (29-9-2-1) had Oskar Aitken Salmons, Ethan Lingard and Malcolm Fletcher dent the twine, and hd Jacob Walsh and Merik Grinaker share 29 saves in the Panthers net.

Port Alberni 4 Kerry Park 6
Four goals from first star Bryce Burnett led the South Division leading Kerry Park Islanders to a 6-4 win over the Port Alberni Bombers at Kerry Park Arena.
Second star Filip Nyberg and Brody Lindal had the other goals for Kerry Park (31-6-3-1), which fell behind 2-0 in the first period, which ended 2-2, and scored five straight goals to take a 6-3 lead heading into the third. Noah Stenvig made 39 saves in the Islanders net.
Port Alberni (24-12-4) had a pair of tallies from third star Zach Spafford and singles from Sean Richards and Kai Verbrugge, with Evan Grant blocking 28 shots in goal.

Campbell River 6 Comox Valley 1
A three point night by second star Jacob Kulas and five straight goals allowed the Campbell River Storm to ice the Comox Valley Glacier Kings 6-1 in front of 423 fans at the Comox Valley Sports Centre.
First star Kaeden Serpa turned in an outstanding performance in the Storm goal with 41 saves, and besides Kulas’ pair of goals, Jan-Felix Faupel, Hendry Davis, Wyatt Doumont and Logan Wright scored for North Division leading Campbell River (29-8-5), which led 1-0 and 3-1 by periods. Thomas Curri added two assists and was named third star of the contest.
Henry Toomer had the lone goal for Comox Valley (17-21-3), and netminder Aaron Pichette stopped 21 shots on the night.
