VANCOUVER ISLAND JUNIOR HOCKEY LEAGUE

All Star & Prospect Teams Announced
December 10, 2024 – The Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League has announced the lineups for the 2024-25 All-Star and Prospect games which will be held in conjunction with the BC Hockey League All-Star and Prospect games in Salmon Arm, January 17-18, 2025.
“The VIJHL is excited to have its best players participate in All-Star and Prospect games in conjunction with the BCHL for the first time,” says VIJHL President Mark MacDonald. “The Prospects game will feature players aged 16-18 years, and some of the Prospects will also compete in the All-Star game.
“Scouts from every level of hockey will be at this event, and it’s a tremendous opportunity for our players to show them what they can do,” he adds. “We are all about developing better hockey players and young men, and if they can catch someone’s eye and be offered a chance to play at a higher level in the future, that’s what this is all about.”
The All-Star and Prospect game coaches earned their positions due to their standings within the division as of November 26.
