Comox Valley 5 Kerry Park 1
Comox Valley Glacier Kings scored two goals in each of the first two periods on the way to a 5-1 drubbing of the Kerry Park Islanders in the lone Saturday night VIJHL contest, played at Kerry Park Arena.
First star Suhaan Nagra, Ethan Gobel, Zaya Morro, Declan Johanneson and Kingston Gowans were the marksmen for the Glacier Kings, who led 2-0 and 4-0 by periods and receive 18 saves from goalie Sila Dromarsky as the Yetis picked up their first victory of the season.
Third star Joshua Dubreuil stopped an amazing 62 shots in the contest and Tomasz Ptaszek had the lone goal for Kerry Park, as Christian Jamieson was named second star.
