Campbell River 2 Westshore 9
First star Kansys Seney had a four point night on two goals and two assists to lead the Westshore Wolves to a 9-2 thumping of the Campbell River Storm in the lone Wednesday night VIJHL contest in front of 165 fans at the Juan De Fuca Recreation Centre.
Westshore stormed out to a 5-0 first period lead and headed into the third period up 7-1, with their other goals coming from second star Parker Atkinson, Noah Gebicki, Jacob Leamy, Linkin Niedoba, Jaxson Prette, Jackson Buie and Koji Kasubichi. Third star of the contest was Ander Reyes who made 36 stops in the Wolves lair.
Elliott Turgeon and Dylan Toth scored for Campbell River, who saw Matteo Scotto Di Pompeo and Luc Gravel share netminding duties to combine for 25 saves.
