Oct. 21: Generals March To Convincing Win In Kerry Park

Oceanside Generals marched to a 2-0 first period lead and never looked back while defeating the Kerry Park Islanders 6-1 in Tuesday night VIJHL play at Kerry Park Arena.

Braylon Becker scored twice and Dylan Matthews, second star Braeyen Newans, Maddy Reyes and Ryken Lay once apiece for Oceanside (7-7) who led 2-0 and 5-0 by periods and moved into a third place tie with Nanaimo Buccaneers in the tight North Division with 14 points. Levi Hollatz stopped 22 shots in the victors goal, and Kaiden Day added two assists and was named first star.

Third star Parker Lawrence scored the lone goal for the hosts, who had Joshua Dubreuil and Carter Puska combine for 48 saves as the Islanders remained winless on the season.
