The VIJHL Governors after much consideration are very disappointed to announce that a decision has been reached, based on current COVID concerns, to not participate in this season’s 2nd Annual All Star and Prospect games with the PJHL.
With no recent positive updates around the pandemic, self-isolation protocol’s requiring 14 days of isolation before and then again after the event, spectators not being allowed in the building for viewing, and the concern over safety for volunteers, players and families, it made the most sense to postpone until next season.
Our regrets go out to those coaches and players that will miss this year’s event, however, safety must continue to be the VIJHL priority as we navigate through these difficult times and look forward to better years ahead.
