A 28 save shutout by first star Caden Lentz led the Peninsula Panthers to a 2-0 victory over the Victoria Cougars and a 3-1 lead in their VIJHL South Division final series at Archie Browning Arena.
Third star Brendan Williams and Logan Barnes both scored in the second period for Peninsula, the only shots that eluded second star Finn Wilson, who finished with 32 stops in the Cougars’ cage.
Game five is Friday night in Peninsula.
