Second star William Talbot and Luc Gravel combined on a 33 save shutout as the Campbell River Storm overshadowed the Saanich Predators 4-0 in a battle of fourth place clubs in the lone VIJHL game Tuesday night at George Pearkes Arena.
Campbell River (24-19-1 for 49 points, fourth in the North) had a goal and two assists from first star Ethan Hill, as well as tallies from Colby Driebergen, Thomas Curri and third star Dylan Toth as they led 3-0 after the first and second periods.
Saanich (8-33-3 for 19 points, fourth in the South) received 33 saves from netminder Asher Uniat.
