South Division leading Peninsula Panthers needed three third period goals to come back and double the Kerry Park Islanders in Tuesday night VIJHL action at Kerry Park Arena.
Following a scoreless first period, Peninsula trailed 2-1 heading into the final frame, and had their goals from first star Brendan Williams, Oskar Aitken-Salmons, Alex Sajan and Logan Barnes. Matus Volovar made 22 saves between the Panthers pipes.
Third star Hagan Purinton and Wade Enger scored for the Islanders, with second star, netminder Carter Puska, finishing with an amazing 57 saves.
