Cougars Alumni Game to Benefit Josh Wyatt

The Victoria Cougars 2nd Annual Alumni game is Thursday (December 19) at the Arch.

This is a fundraiser for a Cougar alumnus, Josh Wyatt, who has been diagnosed with cancer. Cougar fans will remember #11 who played three seasons with the Cats earning 99 regular season points and in his 20 year, a VIJHL Championship. He went on to a productive University career with the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos averaging a point per game and garnering two national titles.

While in Oklahoma, he fell in love and got married. Josh and Kurstyn bought a house and life was great. As you would expect, the diagnosis came as a shock and with mounting medical expenses, the Victoria Cougars wanted to do something for a valued family member.

Thursday’s action gets underway at 7pm. Admission is by donation and there will be a silent auction with all proceeds going to Josh to help him out

There is a GoFundMe page set up HERE.
