FEATURE PLAYER

AARON DE KOK
Campbell River Storm

With their playoff existence on the line, the responsibility of protecting the Storm wickets fell on an 18 year old from Lethbridge. The VIJHL’s Top Goaltender, Aaron de Kok proved why GM’s from up and down the Island chose him for the honour. Last Tuesday, in double overtime, while shorthanded he made a series of saves that literally saved the Storm season. In 3 games he stopped 68 of 71 shots (.958), earned a 0.85 GAA and a shutout in Game 7.
