COUGHLIN, Drew
Current Team: Peninsula Panthers
Jersey Number: 22
Position: F
Height: 6'0
Weight: 185
Hometown: Victoria, B.C.,
Shoots: Left
Date of Birth: September 4, 1999 (20 years)

Drew Coughlin (pronounced Cog lin) came to the attention of Peninsula Panthers General Manager Pete Zubersky three years ago when he was only 14 years old. Drew's older brother played for the Panthers and on many Monday night practices, the lightning fast forward come out and skated with the Club. Drew was signed by the Saanich Braves last season as a 16-year-old however, the Panthers brass kept an eye on him and when the opportunity presented itself to acquire his rights earlier this season, it was an easy decision. Drew's greatest asset is his dynamic speed and this skill will be at a pro level once he adds size and strength. His parents are Dawn and Terry. His older brother Tait currently plays for the BCHL's Nanaimo Clippers.

FEATURE PLAYER

JORDAN NEUFELD
Comox Valley Glacier Kings

“Jordan (Neufeld) played his best hockey of the season over the past six weeks,” says Comox Valley Glacier Kings’ Head Coach, Jeff Dubois of the VIJHL Player of the Week (February 17-22). “On top of being our top offensive player, he brings a physical presence and puts in a lot of work on special teams. He was the driving force in our win on Monday over Campbell River and has scored a number of big goals this month.”
