This Week we Showcase
A member of the Peninsula Panthers Marshall Brown.
Marshall hails from Quesnel British Columbia and is a product of Quesnel Minor Hockey Association.
Please find comments from Team Owner Pete Zubersky and Head Coach Brad Tippett
Marshall Brown Played his rookie year last season with the Westshore Wolves, after watching Marshall it was easy to see how in limited ice time he could impact the game. And when he came available, I jumped at the opportunity to aquire his playing rights. Marshall has size Skill and Heart and was penciled in to be a top sixth forward on the Club. When the puck dropped on Sept. 2nd at the Panthers regular season opener, The plan took a detour when Marshall Broke his leg. All is well now with Marshall and look forward to him have a great Season, Born in Quesnel Marshall Billets with his uncle in Victoria.Marshall will never turn down a double cheesburger, he has 2 dogs, loves basball and Family,
A Message from Head Coach Brad Tippett
When Marshall came back from his broken leg it took all of 1 shift to hit the scoresheet. A week after Marshall's injury we also lost Trevor Owens for 2 1/2 months, which represented 40% of our first PP unit. It is no coincidence our special teams are greatly improved with their return.
Marshall posesses very soft hands and great puck protection skills. His best asset, however is his "Goal Scorers Instinct" his ability to "hide" on the ice and them simply "arrive at the right time"
He is equally impressive off the ice. He is a Poster Boy for committment to education.
Bottom Line He is a very First Class Young Man who happens to be a great hockey player.
The Peninsula Panthers and the VIJHL are proud to have Marshall Brown a part of all of us.
